The Angel
There are two possible entrances into this valley. One to the west and one to the east. At the eastern most point,
high upon the mountain , seemingly guarding that entrance into the valley is an angel. To the west is the Egyptian
variant of an angel, The Griffin. It is notable that both of these carvings are at exact magnetic east and west.

The photo on the left (bottom) is of the griffin from directly overhead and behind it.  Note that the wings are two separate rock constructs, two individual wings. This photograph does not well show the fact that between the wings and down into the areas in shadow is a rock placed as a spacer to keep the wing position secure.
