The Panther is a reoccuring 'theme' at the creek. On the face of the Whistling Man, a pantherlike cat is within the composite of his face. On other rocks, the panther sits as 'on the mind' of the individual represented by that rock.
For the most part, these carvings represent personalities who are/will be involved in a conflict. I have a speculation
that the 'cat' or sphynx are a connecting rod between Cydonia on Mars and Giza in Egypt. It may turn out that the creek is the Rosetta Stone of Earth's Truths connecting the dots between or extraterrestrial origins and our genetic cousins, the angels.
